I'm Kelsey, boudoir photographer at Rosewood Boudoir. Creating tasteful + romantic photographs that help you see your natural beauty.

Have you ever sat there wracking your brain trying to figure out what to get your husband for Christmas? You want to give him something he’ll love, but maybe he already buys the things he wants during the year. There’s always practical options, but maybe you’ve already done those in the past. Maybe it’s time for a thoughtful and unexpected gift that is just as meaningful for you. Maybe it’s time to consider getting your husband boudoir photos as a Christmas gift.
I love boudoir as a Christmas gift for your husband. I know it’s common among brides, but a few years into marriage it can be such a special way to celebrate how far you’ve come together. We all know that men are visual creatures, and a boudoir album full of tasteful and intimate photographs of the woman he loves is an incredible way to show him how much you love and appreciate him. Not to mention, a boudoir album freezes this moment in time (and your marriage) and gives you both something to look back on over the years.
If you’ve looked into boudoir before, you may have had the thought that you could never do that or look like that. Maybe you think you wouldn’t know what to do or how to “look sexy”. Let me set your mind at ease. You don’t have to know how to do any of it. That’s my job. I’ll walk you through everything from how to pose, where to put your hands, and what to do with your face. It’s completely normal to be nervous and even to feel awkward at first. Most of the women I photograph feel the exact same way. My posing and style is designed to help you feel comfortable and confident while creating tasteful and feminine portraiture that helps you feel beautiful and sexy without feeling overly exposed.

We always start with a phone consultation to be sure I’m the right photographer for you. We’ll chat through the experience and I’ll answer any and every question you have. Once you decide to book, I’ll send you a style and prep guide, you can choose which studio you’d like to shoot in, and you’ll have my personal cell number if you have any questions as you prepare for your session.
The day of your session, we’ll have professional hair and makeup on location followed by a 90 minute photoshoot. I’ll walk you through everything and we usually have time for 3-5 outfits along the way.
As soon as the day after your session, we’ll meet again for your reveal party. We’ll go over your photos together and select your favorites for your album. I’ll take care of designing it and if you want anything tweaked before it goes to print, I’m more than happy to adjust things to your preference.
While I do have a quick turnaround time, I still recommend booking a while before you need your album. For a Christmas gift, I’d recommend scheduling your session for October, November, or the first week of December. This means you should ideally reach out in October or early November.
Here’s a few quick tips to keep your album a surprise.
After you see your album, waiting to give it to him is the hardest part!

If you’d like to learn more about booking a Christmas boudoir session or you’d like to book but have a few questions first, I’d love to chat. Reach out here to start your experience.
