MY FIRST BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE

When I had my first boudoir session back in 2017, I wasn’t a professional photographer yet.

I barely knew anything about boudoir photography, let alone what to expect from my own boudoir experience.

Even though my photos turned out well, I went into my session feeling unprepared. I literally didn’t even know what questions to ask.

I bought a bunch of cheap lingerie and ran all over Knoxville the morning of my session getting my hair and makeup done. When I think back on my experience, I mostly remember being unsure, not loving my makeup, and feeling hungry because I was scared to eat beforehand. Not my finest moment.

I want better for you.

I want you to walk in feeling as comfortable and prepared as possible. I want you to actually enjoy your experience AND love your photographs.

BEFORE YOU BOOK YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

When you reach out, I’ll give you a phone call.

We’ll talk through what you’re looking for, I’ll answer all your questions, and we’ll make sure this is the right fit before you book.

If it is, we’ll choose a date and get everything scheduled.

BEFORE YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

Once you’re booked, I’ll send over everything you need for next steps:

• Studio options
• Pre-session questionnaire

You’ll also have my number, so you can text me anytime you have questions or want a second opinion on outfits.

DURING YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

We start your day with hair and makeup. My stylist specializes in soft, natural glam looks that feel elevated while still looking like you.

You can bring inspiration images or just sit back and let her take care of you.

After hair and makeup, we’ll chat through your outfit options together and finalize a plan.

During your session, I’ll walk you through everything. I’ll show you exactly how to pose, where to put your hands, and what to do with your face.

I’ll show you some photos as we go so you can see how good you look in real time (without any editing).

After your session, be sure to stay hydrated. You’ll likely be a little sore the next day, but I promise your photos will be worth it.

AFTER YOUR BOUDOIR SESSION

As soon as the day after your Knoxville boudoir session, you’ll come back for your reveal party.

This is one of the most meaningful parts of the experience.

Many women say something along the lines of “I can’t believe that’s me.” Some sit quietly and soak it in. Some chat and laugh. Some tear up a little.

Whatever your response, it’s welcome here.

We’ll look through your photographs together and select your favorite images for your album.

I’ll design your album for you so everything flows seamlessly from one page to the next. Once you approve the design, it’ll arrive on your doorstep within 1-2 weeks.

But even more than a beautiful keepsake, you’ll leave this experience with a deeper appreciation for the woman you see in the mirror.
